Quick Bike Ride and New Routes
This time, the plan was for a shorter bike ride, approximately 10 minutes long. Although the distance was brief, it brought new experiences, route explorations, and a few new squares on the map.
Short Rides Brighten Up the Day
Short rides like this are perfect for a busy day. Even if the distance isn’t long, both the body and mind feel refreshed, and the day’s overall activity level increases. During this ride, a few kilometers were covered, and new squares were added in familiar nearby areas.
Route Tests and Technical Observations
Route recording and video capturing continue:
- New routes were found near the Haukiovuori area, but some planned routes would have extended beyond 60 km—too long for this time.
- Several videos were captured, and some have already been uploaded to YouTube. Shorter clips worked well, while uploading longer videos online posed some challenges.
- In practice, this ride remained a “quick dash,” but such moments help maintain regular cycling habits.
Nature and Small Details
Along the way, birdhouses and fallen trees were encountered—small details that make each ride unique. Although the weather brought a few raindrops, it didn’t prevent the ride from taking place.
Summary
Not all rides need to be long to be beneficial. Even short rides brighten the day, bring new experiences, and keep cycling routines intact. Additionally, they offer opportunities to test routes, techniques, and recordings without a significant time commitment.
